Warranty and Liability

The warranty period is 12 months from delivery of the equipment.
The limitation period also applies for claims to damages for consequential losses
unless the customer can assert claims arising from unlawful action.
The guarantee covers material and manufacturing faults which occur under normal
stresses (single layer mode).
When commissioning the machine, the supplier has to fill in the delivered guarantee
and handover certificate together with the customer and / or machine operator and
return it to the company KOMET. After returning the protocol, they can request
authorized guarantee services. Only use original spare parts of the company KOMET,
otherwise the guarantee will be null and void.
In the event of a guarantee claim, please return the faulty part carriage-paid together
with a copy of the invoice and a description of the complaint.
Our "General Terms of Sale and Delivery (VLB)" apply in principle.
Warranty and liability claims in the case of personal injury or material damage are
excluded if they arise from one or more of the following causes:

The intended usage guidelines were not followed.

Improper machine assembling, set-up, operation, maintenance and repair.

Machine usage with defect, if the safety and security devices are not correctly
installed or with not functioning security or safety devices.

Not following the instructions containing in this manual regarding: transport,
storage, assembly, installation, set-up, operation, maintenance and installation of
extra devices.

Machine modifications done without KOMET support or acceptance.

Catastrophes occurring because of external influence or violence.

Attrition.
