Intended Use
When used properly, the
safety vacuum cleaner de-
scribed in this manual is sui-
table for vacuuming up dry,
non-flammable dusts and
liquids. It is properly suited
for the vacuuming up and
off of health endangering,
according to test methods/
standards:
IEC 335-1 and
IEC 335-2-2
The test in accordance
with IEC 335-1 and
IEC 335-2-2 has showed
that the safety require-
ments with respect to the
electrical safety are also
satisfied when picking up
a water/air mixture.
Protection class
Enclosure
At a filter surface area
load of ≤ 500 m³ x m
x h , the cleaner has a

is approved for dust class
"L" in accordance with IEC
60335-2-69.
The filter paper of the
ab-solute filter element
has been tested by the
Berufsgenossenschaftliche
Institut für Arbeitssicher-
heit [Tech-nical Institute
for Occupa-tional Safety]
(BIA) in accordance with
ZH 1/487, paragraph 2 and
has a mean degree of pe-
netra-tion reliably < 0.1%
mea-sured at an air flow
velo-city of 0.05 m/s.
The two-layer filter mate-
rial of the bag-type safety
filter has been tes-ted by
the BIA in accor-dance
non-flammable dusts with
TLV values greater than 1
mg/m in accordance with
the dust class 'L' as per IEC
60335-2-69.
with ZH 1/487 para. 2
and has a mean degree
of penetration of reliably
< 0.1% measured at an
air flow velocity of 0.056
m/s.
Electrical tests must be
performed at least once
a year and after repair
or modification.
