If the DVD-RAM/R drive is installed vertically

Insert so the label-side of the shutter is
facing up.

Push the DVD-RAM disc about 2 cm to-
wards the DVD-RAM/R drive.

Press gently on the shutter-label so the
DVD-RAM disc sits firmly on the tray.
Note:
•
Do not turn off the computer or remove DVD-RAM discs while the Operation Indicator lamp is
orange. This can destroy data or cause data to be written incorrectly.

To avoid damage to your discs and this DVD-RAM/R drive, do not insert more than one disc on a tray.

You cannot use 8-cm discs if the DVD-RAM/R
drive is set up vertically, even if you use an
adapter.

Fold out the stopper.

Raise disc holders A and B so they are
higher than the tray.

Insert the disc diagonally between the
stopper and the tray and push it about
1 cm towards the stopper.

Now pull the disc back so it fits between
the tray and disc holders A and B.
