10. Air Filter

The air filter should be kept clean for best performance and durability.
Remove air filter cover by removing the screw holding the cover.
a. Air filter should be washed in tepid soapy water, and then dried thoroughly.
Wet filter with a bit of oil again. Squeeze excess oil out. If filter is quite worn
or damaged, it should be replaced.
Replace filter and cover. Make sure that filter and cover are seated properly and seal
tightly.
The air filter should be cleaned every 5 hours, though more often if you are working in a
dusty area.

11. Spark plug

This machine is equipped with a W22MP-US spark plug which has a gap of 0.6 mm
(0.024‖). For best performance it should be replaced annually.

12. Storage

Empty all fuel from fuel tank into an approved gasoline can. Let motor run, until it stops.
Store the trimmer in a frost free area, out of reach of children.
Observe all safety instructions for safe storage and handling of gasoline.
