Congratulations on purchasing this DOMENA steam cleaner!
Steam cleaning is an economical and 100% ecological cleaning method because it disinfects,
removes grease and crusts and eliminates all types of impurities without any detergent or chemical
product. It also requires 20 times less water than normal cleaning.
Read the instructions carefully before using your appliance.
SAFETY ADVICE
When using the appliance, the following basic precautions should be taken:
- Read the instructions carefully before using your appliance.
- Use the appliance only for its intended purpose: steam cleaning.
Before connecting the appliance to the mains, make sure that your mains voltage corresponds to
the voltage indicated on the rating plate.
You must use a mains supply which has an earth connection, for your own safety.
Do not operate several high wattage appliances on the same electrical circuit.
Never plug in or pull the plug from the socket with wet hands.
When unplugging the machine, always pull the plug, not the cable.
Make sure that the power cable does not touch any hot surfaces or sharp edges.
Do not use the cleaner if it is damaged, if it leaks or if the power cable is damaged.
To avoid any risk of electric shocks, do not dismantle your cleaner. Take it to your nearest After
Sales Service dealer for servicing or repair.
Great care must be taken when cleaning in the presence of children. Store the cleaner out of the
reach of children.
This type of appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physi-
cal, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction in advance to ensure their safety when using the appliance.
If an extension lead is necessary, a 10 amp cable should be used. Ensure that no-one can trip over
or unplug the extension lead. It must be fitted with an earth connection.
Never leave your appliance unattended when it is switched on.
Never immerse your appliance in water or any other liquid, not even partially.
Use only DOMENA accessories.
You must unplug the appliance if you fill the water tank in its compartment.
Never open the heater emptying button when your appliance is hot.
Do not leave the cleaner on stairways or other unstable areas where it might be knocked over.
Do not store your appliance outside or where there is a risk of frost.
Any appliance that is no longer usable must be neutralised before being disposed of. Cut off the
power lead.
For any repair, take your appliance to a registered After Sales Service Centre so that the repair
will be in accordance with the standards indicated in this manual.
Any repair carried out by an unauthorised person will cancel the warranty.
IMPORTANT ADVICE
Never add alcohol-based products or perfumes, eau de Cologne, etc. or any other cleaning pro-
ducts, detergents or stain removers to the water.
Do not point the jet of steam at a person or an animal.

The steam generated is extremely hot and could cause serious burns.
Do not point the jet of steam in the direction of any electrical plugs, equipment or electric
appliances including the cleaning appliance itself.
Do not change the attachments whilst the appliance is emitting steam.
Check that the heater emptying button is firmly closed.
Apply the child safety lock when the appliance is not in use.
PRECAUTIONS
Steam or steam pressure may: loosen, detach, discolour, deform or melt the surface to be
cleaned.
Always check the heat and humidity resistance of the material to be cleaned by carrying out a
preliminary test on a hidden surface.
DOMENA cannot be held responsible for any damage to material, animals or persons due to
improper use of the steam.
