1. Safety instructions and general information
1.1 Cautions
For your own safety, please follow the instructions below:
1. This product is designed for group computers. Do not connect the power supply to an inductive load, such
as a motor, a fluorescent lamp, etc. We recommended that you do not connect medical or other important
devices to this product.
2. To prevent interference with the display, we recommend that you keep a distance of 50 cm from the
display while installing the product.
3. The normal surface temperature of the UPS will reach about 50 °C in operation mode.
4. There will be an output voltage from the UPS when the "ON" switch is on and the main power is off. There
will be no output voltage if the UPS is switched off; the output voltage will come from the UPS bypass.
5. Please do not overload the UPS.
6. Please bring the machine to an authorised maintenance centre if internal repairs or a new battery is
required.
7. Short circuiting the UPS can cause electric shock or fire. Therefore, do not put any liquid on or near it.
8. Please cut the power immediately and contact your dealer if the machine functions abnormally.
9. Do not store or operate the machine in the following environments:
1) Places with flammable gas, corrosively material or dust
2) Places of excessive high or low temperatures: above 42 °C or below -2 °C
3) Places with a humidity percentage of more than 90%
4) Places with direct sunshine or near heat sources
5) Shaking or vibrating environments
6) Outside
10. Please use a dry powder fire extinguisher in case the UPS catches fire. There will be a risk of electric
shock when using a liquid extinguisher.
11. Please install the UPS close to a socket to quickly cut the power by pulling the UPS out of the socket in
case of an emergency.
Warning!
1) Make sure to correctly connect the UPS to the ground before connecting the AC to the supply power.
2) The power socket must be 15 A/250 V or above.
2. Product components
2.1 Front panel
1) LCD display screen: displays input and output voltage, frequency, battery and load capacity.
2) Bypass indicator (orange): the light is off when the UPS is working on main power input.
3) Output indicator (green): the light is on when the UPS is working;
4) The UPS' working status indicator (green/red): the green light is on when the main power input is
activated; the red light is on when the main power input is deactivated;
5) AC indicator (orange): the light is on when the main power input is activated;
6) "ON" button: start the UPS by pressing the button for 3 seconds. The UPS will normally start working in
15 seconds;
7) "OFF" button: shut down the UPS by pressing the button for 3 seconds.
