Product
This symbol is used to identify all safety instructions. Read these instructions
carefully and follow them to avoid injury to persons or damage to property.
The lamp is only to be placed at a distance of 20 cm near to fl ammable materials.
The lamp is suitable for use on normally fl ammable undergrounds.

Safety Instructions

Intended Use

❐ This lamp is to be used only for illumination in dry indoor rooms. It is not suitable for use in
clamp rooms, e.g. bathrooms.
❐ The lamp is not to be used for direct irradiation of persons, animals or plants.
❐ The lamp is for personal use only and is not intended for commercial applications.
❐ The lamp must only be used as described in the operating instructions. Any other use is
deemed to be improper.

Risk of Injury

❐ Keep children and pets away from packaging material. Risk of suffocation!
❐ Keep children away from the lamp. Don't let them alone with the lamp. It is not suitable for
children.
❐ Keep animals away from the lamp! The lamp is not to be used for irradiation of animals, such
as hamsters, poults etc., or for irradiation of lamps. Risk of burning!
❐ The lamp is not suitable for irradiation of persons.
❐ Do not look directly into the light source! Your eyes could be injured.
❐ Let the lamp cool down completely before changing the bulb, cleaning the lamp or putting
the lamp away. Risk of burning!
❐ Be careful when inserting and changing the bulb. Risk of breakage and therefore risk of injury!
Electricity – Risk of Electric Shock!
❐ Keep the lamp away from humidity.
❐ The lamp should only be connected to a properly installed socket. The socket must also be
readily accessible after connection. The mains voltage must be the same as that stated in the
technical data of the lamp (see chapter "Technical Data"). Only use suitable extension cables
whose technical data is the same as that of the lamp (see chapter "Technical Data").
❐ Always check the lamp for damage before putting it into operation. If the lamp, mains cable
or plug show visible signs of damage, the lamp must not be used.
