3.8 Reset of the partial volume counter and intermediate counter
The partial volume counter, which is shown in the upper line, can be resetted by briefly pressing
the „RES" button.
To reset both, the partial and intermediate counters, press and hold the „RES" button for a few
seconds. All available symbols light up on the display. As soon as the display returns to normal
display mode, the values are resetted.

3.9 Calibration of the pulse value

The water meter is set to a certain pulse value at the factory. This value is noted on the nameplate
and handwritten on the circuit board. If you need to change the pulse value, press and hold the
„OPT" button for three seconds. The current pulse value and Cal are shown on the display. Press
the „RES" button to change the currently flashing number. Pressing the „OPT" key switches
between the numbers for setting. Press the „OPT" button again for three seconds to save the new
value and return to normal operation.

3.10 Care and maintenance

The device is of low-maintenance. Just pay attention to the cleanliness of the turbine. This should
be visually checked and cleaned regularly.
In an operating state without flow measurement, the batteries last approx. 2 years. You should
remove the batteries if you are not going to use the device for a long period of time.
Basically, the batteries should be checked visually once a year and the contacts in the battery
holders should be cleaned. The batteries must be replaced as soon as the display becomes pale
or the battery symbol appears on the display.
To check or change the batteries, the electronics housing must be opened. Please read paragraph
3.1.

3.11 Disposal

If you want to dispose the device for whatever reason, this must be done in accordance with the
local disposal regulations for electronic devices.
