Place the infusion set securely within the Quick-serter. To do this,

place fingers on the adhesive liner and push the infusion set
down.
Remove both pieces of the adhesive liner.

Pick up the Quick-serter and pull the handle down until it clicks.

Twist the needle guard to loosen it. Carefully remove the needle

guard. Do not touch or bend the needle.
Place the Quick-serter on the desired infusion site. Then, press

the two side buttons at the same time to insert the infusion set.
Press the release button on top of the Quick-serter to release the

infusion set.
Hold the infusion set tubing with one hand. Then, remove the

Quick-serter by lifting it away from the body with the other hand.
Pull the needle housing away from the infusion set with one

hand. Gently press the tape against the skin with the other hand.
Close the needle housing. Then, discard the shielded needle in a
12.
sharps container.
Smooth out the tape securely against the skin.
