5. Attaching the light
The light is equipped with a 1/4" tripod thread and can be mounted directly or
with the swivel joint (4) to a tripod, ball head, desktop stand etc. Attaching the
light to the cameraʼs accessory shoe requires the use of the swivel joint (4).
Align the light on the camera and fasten the lock rings (15 and 17) for secure
attachment (fig. D). The light can be tilted and rotated after loosening the lo-
cking screw (16). Donʼt forget to tighten the screw again.
6. Operating the light
The light has a dimmer switch (1) with OFF position. Switch the light on by ro-
tating the dimmer switch clockwise until it reaches the desired illumination. En-
sure that the dimmer switch is in OFF position when the light is not in use.
When the brightness drops off, replace or recharge the batteries. You should
use the white diffusor screen (13) to obtain specially soft video-compatible il-
lumination. For indoor use in rooms with artificial lighting, it is recommended
to attach the orange 3200 K artificial light filter (12) to the front of the light.
Diffusor screen and artificial light filter are attached with magnets (14).
7. Combining multiple lights
Multiple lights can be combined side by side or on top of each other.
Side by side:
Place the lights as shown in fig. E. Make sure that the dot marks are facing
each other. Push both lights together as shown in fig. E. Now slide both lights
into their locking contours (10) (fig. F) to align the lights as shown in fig. G.
A click sound will indicate that the lights are connected firmly. For detaching
the lights move both locking sliders (18) in arrow direction (fig. G) and, while
holding these in position, move both lights in arrow direction as shown in fig. H.
On top of each other:
The light comes with a connecting piece (5) required for on-top connection. At-
taching two lights on top of each other requires two connecting pieces. Place
both lights upside down on a flat surface. Position one connecting piece with the
dot marks facing each other and push it towards the lights as shown in fig. I.
Now slide it in arrow direction into the locking contours (fig. K). Do the same
on the opposite side (fig. L). Check if everything is locked properly. To detach
the lights push the locking buttons (19) on the connecting pieces (fig. M) and
pull the lights apart.
