o Do not immerse the appliance in water, do not
clean it with water and do not use it if your hands
are wet.
o Always turn the appliance off before putting it
down, even if it is only for a moment. If you are go-
ing to use the hair dryer in the bathroom it is advis-
able to unplug it after using it because having it
near to water is a hazard even if it is switched off.
o As an additional safety precaution, it is advisable to
install a fault current protection device with a nom-
inal value of max. 30 mA for the residual current in
the circuit that supplies the bathroom with power.

o Keep the appliance out of reach of children aged
under 8.
o Children are not allowed to play with the appli-
ance.
o Please do not cover the air inlet grill with your hair
or fingers and ensure it does not get clogged with
lint or small hairs.
