4. Installation
a) Cameras
Install each camera in a location where it will not be subjected to direct sunlight. Both ends of
the coaxial cable are fitted with a male DIN connector. Insert the DIN plug of the coaxial cable
into the back of the camera.
Figure 4 displays the 4-pin male mini-DIN plug above the 4-pin female mini-DIN socket. Both
have the following pin assignment: video (1), GND (2), DC power (3), audio (4).
b) A/V Switcher
1. Connect the adapter with the adapter jack (DC IN) and plug the
adapter into a wall outlet.
2. Connect the DIN plug with the output jack and connect the
other end with your TV or monitor.
3. Connect the DIN jack with the camera's DIN plug
4. When the cameras have been connected : press the power
button and the power LED will light. The channel LED will
indicate which camera is currently selected.
5. Use
a) Programming the switching sequence
It is possible to monitor more than one location at the same time
using the following procedure:
Press SET (SET LED will light). Press CH. ▲ or CH. ▼
repeatedly until the channel LED displays "1", then press the
STORE button.
Select channel 2 with CH. ▲ or CH. ▼ and press STORE when the channel LED displays "2". Do the same for
channels 3 & 4.
Press SET to conclude this procedure.
b) Auto switch function
Press the SCAN button to start the automatic switching sequence. The dwell time is adjustable from 1 to 30 seconds.
Adjust the dwell time with the TIME adjustment at the back of the A/V switcher (see 12 in fig. 1 on p. 1).
c) Single channel selection
Select the desired channel with CH. ▲ or CH. ▼. Note that the single channel selection automatically stops the auto
switch function.
d) Muting
Push the MUTE button to mute the audio transmission and press again to restore it.
