clean internal condition of the housing (remove possibly existing for-
eign object); replace alternatively housing

fit sealing correctly into the housing before installing the measure-
ment insert.
Flow direction arrows on the housing and the measurement
insert must be aligned during installation!
WP, WS:
Tighten the fastening screws equally crosswise.
8. Frost tips
Flow sensors contain minor water residues from testing, which could
freeze during transport in freezing weather.
There is no damage of the flow sensor or impairment of its measurement
properties, if our following explanations are observed:

If flow sensors arrive during freezing weather, they should be slowly
defrosted in a frost-free place.
ƒ
If the flow sensor is installed during a freezing period, the function should
be checked by slightly blowing at the flow sensor (movement of the
swivel plate). Please pay attention to this matter in your own interest!
ƒ
Close and drain pipes and water pipes which are not in permanent
use. Protect the remaining lines, mainly flow sensors, against cold
air. Close, drain connections for construction water or openly installed
connections, remove construction meter.

Environmental note

The device must not be disposed together with the domestic waste.
Return it to the manufacturer for recycling.
