Keep these instructions in a safe place.
• Carefully read these warnings and instructions.
• An electrical appliance is not a toy. Use and keep the equipment out of reach of children.
• All packaging (plastic bags, cartons, etc.) must be kept out of reach of children.
• This appliance is not designed for use by people (including children) with limited physical, sensorial
or mental capacity or anyone who has not read this instruction manual.
• This appliance is intended for use with alternating current only. Before switching it on, make sure the
power rating is the same as the one indicated on the rating plate.
• ONLY plug the appliance into earthed power sockets with a minimum power of
10A (fi g. 001).
• Do not pull on the power cord to remove the plug from the socket (fi g. 002).
• Make sure the mains electricity supply has a residual current device (circuit breaker).
• Fully unwind the power cord before switching on the appliance.
• Only use an extension cord in perfect condition. Make sure it is the right diameter for the appliance
power.
• Never drag the power cable over sharp corners and avoid crushing it.
• Never leave the appliance operating without supervision.
• Do not expose the machine to the elements (rain, frost, sun, etc.).
• Never use the appliance:
- with wet or damp hands;
- if the appliance has fallen and shows obvious signs of breakage or operating problems;
- if the socket or power supply cord are defective.
• ALWAYS unplug the appliance immediately after use (fi g. 003) and before any
cleaning or maintenance operations.
• Refer all repairs to qualifi ed service personnel that stock original manufacturer-supplied spare parts.
It can be extremely dangerous to repair the appliance yourself.
• In compliance with current laws, any appliance that has reached the end of its lifecycle must be rendered
non-useable by cutting off the power supply cord before disposal.
• Do not vacuum infl ammable, explosive or corrosive substances (fi g. 004).
• Do not use the machine in rooms saturated with gas.
• Clean the machine with water only. Do not use trichloroethylene (TCE), solvents or abrasive
detergents.
The manufacturer declines all responsibility for any damage caused by improper
use or use not conforming to the instructions supplied, tampering with the appliance
and/or inadequate maintenance.
