Dangers of Injury

Keep the device and packaging material away from children and animals. There is a
risk of injury and suffocation!
This device may be used by children aged 8 and over and by people with reduced
physical, sensory or mental abilities or a lack of experience and/or knowledge if they
are supervised or have received instruction on how to use the device safely and have
understood the dangers resulting from this. Children must not play with the device.
Cleaning and user maintenance may not be performed by children, unless they are
older than 8 years of age and are supervised.
Children younger than 8 years of age and animals must be kept away from the de-
vice!
Keep your head, hands, hair, jewellery and clothing away from rotating parts of the
device.
The blades of the inserts are sharp! Be careful when changing the inserts.
Only use the plunger which is also supplied to push food down the feed chute. Never
reach into the feed chute while the device is in operation.
Notes on Hygiene
The device may contain production residues. To avoid harmful effects to your health,
clean the device and all inserts thoroughly before using them for the fi rst time (see
the "Cleaning and Storage" chapter).
Clean the device after each use to prevent germ formation (see the "Cleaning and
Storage" chapter).
Instructions for Use
If the device is broken, do not attempt to make repairs yourself. In the event of dam-
age, contact the customer service department or a specialist in your local area.
The device should only be used if it has been correctly assembled.
Always place the device on a dry, even and fi rm surface.
Maintain a suffi cient distance from heat sources such as hobs or ovens in order not
to damage the device.
Do not attempt to force food down the feed chute; this may damage the device!
Use only original parts from the manufacturer.
Do not drop the device or allow it to be knocked violently.
Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, wide temperature variations, or
direct sunlight.
