(DE) Die in dieser Verpackung befindlichen Bauelemente sind für das
individuelle Nachrüsten der E94 mit Lautsprecher zur Nutzung der
Soundfunktionen eines Decoders vorgesehen. Das Modell der E94 ist
werkseitig für den Einbau eines solchen Sounddecoders mit Next 18
Schnittstelle und Rechtecklautsprecher vorgesehen. Unter der Leiter-
platte befinden sich am Führerstand 1 (Kennzeichen V-1 auf dem Zink-
teil der Motorabdeckung, Abb.1) Kontakte, gegen die die federnden
Lautsprecherkontakte drücken. Es sind beim Einbau also keine Lötar-
beiten erforderlich.
Zum Einbau der Komponenten muss das Oberteil der Lok abgenommen
werden. Bitte beachten Sie dafür die Hinweise in der Bedienungsanleitung
der Lok. Danach ist die Schraube, mit der die Leiterplatte in der Nähe des
Führerstandes 1 angeschraubt ist, zu entfernen. Abb. 2
Nach vorsichtigem, leichtem Anheben der Leiterplatte kann die glasklare
Schallbox mit ihren Zapfen in die Löcher des Führerstandes gedrückt wer-
den. Abb. 3 Bitte beachten Sie die unterschiedlichen Zapfendurchmesser
an der Schallbox. Abb. 4
Auf diese Schallbox wird der Lautsprecher aufgelegt. Dabei unbedingt
beachten, dass die zwei federnden Lautsprecherkontakte so liegen, dass
sie gegenüber der angelöteten Kabelanschlüsse zum Liegen kommen.
Beide federnden Kontaktanschlüsse des Lautsprechers müssen von un-
ten gegen die Leiterplatte drücken. Siehe Abb. 5.+6 Gegebenenfalls sind
die Kontakte vorsichtig nach zu justieren.
Nach Einbau des Lautsprechers wird die Leiterplatte wieder ange-
schraubt. Nach erfolgten Einbau aller Bauteile ist der in Abb. 7 ersicht-
liche Aufbau erkennbar. Anschließend empfehlen wir die Montage des
Sounddecoders. Bitte testen Sie bereits in diesem Zustand das Modell
auf dem Programmiergleis, um eventuelle Kurzschlüsse auszuschließen.
Danach kann ein kurzer Soundcheck auf der Gleisanlage erfolgen, bevor
das Oberteil der Lok wieder montiert wird. Wenn der Einbau erfolgreich
war, kann der Lautsprecher an der Vorderseite vorsichtig mit einem klei-
nen Tropfen Klebstoff an der Schallbox fixiert werden, damit er in der
Position gehalten wird. Aber bitte darauf achten, dass nicht die Membran
des Lautsprechers mit verklebt wird! Auch nach Montage des Oberteils
raten wir zu einem Test auf dem Programmiergleis, um Beschädigungen
und daraus resultierende Kurzschlüsse bei der Oberteilmontage auszu-
schließen.
(EN) This set contains components intended to allow the purchaser to
individually retrofit the E94 with speakers to use the sound functions of
a decoder.
The E94 model has been factory-configured for the installation of such a
sound decoder with Next 18 ports and rectangular speaker. On the driver
cab under the circuit board there are 1 (marking V-1 on the tin section
of the motor cover Fig 1) contacts that press against the spring speaker
contacts. No soldering is therefore required during installation.
The top cover of the locomotive must be removed to install the compo-
nents. When doing this, please observe the instructions in the locomotive
operation instructions. Afterwards remove the screw connected to the cir-
cuit board near the driver cab 1. Fig. 2. After carefully raising the circuit
board slightly the tabs of the clear glass noise box is pressed into the
holes of the driver cab. Fig. 3. Please be aware of the different tab dia-
meters on the noise box. Fig 4. The speaker is placed on the noise box.
When doing this, it is essential to observe that the two spring speaker
contacts are positioned in such a way that they come to rest against the
soldered cable terminals. Both spring contact terminals of the loud spea-
ker must be pressed from below against the circuit board. See Fig 5 & 6.
The contacts may need to be carefully adjusted. After installation of the
speaker the circuit board is screwed back in place. Successful installation
of all components will produce the set-up as shown in Fig 7.

place. If the installation was successful the front side of the speaker can
be carefully attached to the noise box with a small droplet of adhesive
to hold it in position. However, please make sure that adhesive does not
come into contact with the membrane of the speaker! Also after fitting the
top we advise you to carry out a test run on the programming rail in order
to exclude any damage and resulting short circuiting when fitting the top.
(FR) Les éléments contenus dans cet emballage sont prévus pour l'ex-
tension individuelle de la maquette E94 avec un haut-parleur pour l'utili-
sation des fonctions sonores d'un décodeur.
Le modèle de la E 94 est équipé à l'usine d'une interface Next 18 et d'un
haut-parleur rectangulaire pour l'intégration d'un tel décodeur. Sous le
circuit imprimé, sur le poste de conduite 1 (marquage V-1 sur la pièce en
zinc du cache moteur, Fig.1) se trouvent des contacts sur lesquels les
contacts du haut-parleur font pression. Le montage ne nécessite ainsi
aucune soudure.
La partie supérieure de la locomotive doit être retirée pour le montage
des composants. Pour cela, veuillez respecter les consignes du manuel
d'utilisation.
La vis avec laquelle le circuit imprimé est vissée à proximité du poste de
conduite 1 doit être retirée. Fig. 2. Après avoir soulevé le circuit imprimé
légèrement et avec précaution, le boitier d'insonorisation transparent doit
être enfoncé avec ses tenons dans les trous du poste de conduite. Fig.
3. Respectez les différents diamètres des tenons sur le boitier d'insonori-
sation. Fig. 4. Le haut-parleur est posé sur ce boitier d'insonorisation.
Ce faisant, veillez absolument à ce que les deux contacts à ressort soit
installés de telle sorte qu'ils soient disposés face aux liaisons de câbles.
Les deux bornes de contact à ressort du haut-parleur doivent faire pres-
sion sur le circuit imprimé depuis le bas. Voir Fig. 5. u 6 Réajuster les
contacts si nécessaire. Le circuit imprimé est revissé après le montage
du haut-parleur. Après le montage de tous les composants, la structure
illustrée sur la Fig. 7 est visible.Nous recommandons de procéder ensui-
te au montage du décodeur sonore. Veuillez déjà tester la maquette sur
la voie de programmation afin d'exclure un éventuel court-circuit. Vous
pouvez ensuite réaliser un bref test sonore avant de remonter la partie
supérieure de la locomotive. Si le montage est réussi, le haut-parleur
peut être fixé sur la face avant du boitier d'insonorisation avec précau-
tion avec une petite goutte de colle pour maintenir la position. Veuillez
toutefois veiller à ne pas coller la membrane du haut-parleur ! Après le
montage de la partie supérieure également, nous recommandons de réa-
liser un test sur la voie de programmation pour exclure les dommages et
les courts-circuits en résultant lors du montage de la partie supérieure.
