12. Unplug the appliance. Allow the bowl to cool down for two (2) minutes. Exercise
caution and remove the lid (steam may come out).
13. Remove the basket(s) using the spatula
required quantity in the bowl for the blending process. The more stock used the
smoother the puree will be.
14. To remove the bowl from the base, turn the handle clockwise
BLENDING

1. Place the cooked food from the large basket directly into the cooking bowl.
2. Secure the lid to the cooking bowl.
3. Place the cooking bowl on the base and lock into place by turning the
handle counterclockwise.
4. Plug in the appliance.
5. Turn the blend button to the right or left depending on the desired texture, for approximately
ten (10) seconds:
- Smooth texture: turn the selector to the left (high speed)
- Coarse texture with small pieces: turn the selector to the right (medium speed)
If blending does not start properly, ensure that the bowl is fastened onto the base securely
and that the lid is properly closed. The blend button may come out slightly during
blending – this is normal.
6. Repeat step 5 until the desired consistency has been obtained. If the food doesn't mix properly,
add some stock, water or milk. The more liquid used, the smoother the texture will be.
7. Unplug the appliance.
8. Remove the cooking bowl from base using the handle and turning clockwise.
9. Remove the cooking lid by turning the lid clockwise and pour the puree into the desired
container. The provided spatula may be used to scrape the bowl. If the half basket was used,
repeat the blending process for the food steamed in the half basket.
10. Wash the spatula and hang it on the provided hook at the rear of the base unit.
SMOOTHIE
(reference pictures on pages 3 and 7)
1. Remove the blade used to make purees by turning the white flower-shaped flange clockwise
located beneath the cooking bowl.
2. Position the smoothie blade.
3. Install the white flower-shaped flange beneath the cooking bowl and turn it counter-clockwise
to lock into place.
4. Cut the food in small cubes and place directly into the cooking bowl, along with the other
ingredients recommended in the selected recipe.
5. Close the cooking bowl lid securely.
6. Place the cooking bowl onto the base unit and lock into place by turning it counterclockwise.
7. Plug in the appliance.
8. Turn the blend selector to the right or left for approximately ten (10) seconds.
