Switching On and Off

Switching On: Push the On/Off switch 6
toward the front
Switching Off: Press on the On/Off switch

WARNING: If the PRCD residual
current device should actuate
during operation, switch the On/
Off switch 6 off in order to avoid
unintentional restarting of the
machine.' Check if water has
penetrated into the machine.
Only switch the machine on
again when the motor housing is
dry.
CHANGING THE APPLICA- G THE APPLICA-
TION TOOL
Before working on the machine
itself, pull the mains plug.
Clean the shank of the drill bit/core bit 1
before inserting it into the tool holder and
apply, e.g., dry film lubricant.
Insert the drill/core bit with the flat side of
the shank facing the locking screw 2.
Tighten the locking screw with the Allen
key 13 provided.
CAUTION: Remove the Allen
key.
The drill/core bit is removed in reverse
order.
Note: Dry the drill/core bit and apply a
light coat of grease in order to avoid cor-
rosion.

WATER CONNECTION

In order to minimise core bit wear, never
work without water. When working with
FB750W
®
the facade drilling device, use the water
receptacle or the adapter hose, which are
available. as accessories.
Connect the hose coupling 8 of the water
hose to the water supply connection 9.
• Pressurise the water receptacle.
• Open the water cock so that only a lit-
tle water flows out of the core bit.
• Check if water comes out of the control
opening 3. If so, do not continue to
use the machine.
CAUTION: When operating the
machine, water may not enter
into the motor or the electrical
components in any working posi-
tion. Even when the PRCD resi-
dual current device actuates, the
danger of a dangerous electric
shock is still given.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Work with uniform light feed pressure.
When the drill bit/core bit jams, switch
off immediately. Do not rotate the drill
bit/core bit, but pull it out of the bore in
a straight manner. Carefully start drilling
again.
When proceeding differently, the drill bit/
core bit or the workpiece can become
damaged.
