INITIAL OPERATION

Observe correct mains voltage:

The voltage of the power source must
agree with the voltage specified on the
nameplate of the machine.

Adjusting the Auxiliary Handle

Loosen the handle screw 4 on the auxil-
iary-handle 5 and turn the auxiliary handle
to the working position.
Tighten the handle screw again.
Checking the PRCD Residual Cur-
rent Device
WARNING: Each time before
starting operation, the proper
function of the PRCD residual
current device must be checked.
Make sure that the On/Off

switch 6 is set to off in order to
avoid unintentional starting of
the machine.
Push the "RESET" button 10 on the PRCD
residual current device. The red control
light 12 indicates that the residual current
device is ready for operation.
Push the "TEST" button 11. The control
light 12 must go out. Otherwise, the
mochine may not be used.

Setting the Speed Range

Use the speed controller 7 for adjustment
of the optimal speed:
