10. Setup

Open the battery compartment on the back side of the radio controlled digital
wall clock and insert two batteries /LR6/R6/AA 1.5V in the correct polarity. The
wall clock will now start the reception process and the radio control indicator
" " will appear blinking on the display. The reception process will take from 3
to 10 minutes. During the reception process all buttons except -/RCC/ZONE
are disabled. Press and hold this -/RCC/ZONE to stop or restart the reception
process at any time. Should the reception attempt fail, please restart the
reception process at different location or set the time manually. Please kindly
n o t e t h a t t h e r e c e p t i o n w i l l a u t o m a t i c a l l y r e s t a r t e v e r y d a y a t 2 a m , i f n o t
successful, then 3am, then 4am. If still not successful, it'll stop reception till
the next day's 1am.

11. Daylight Saving Time

If the reception is adequate, the wall clock will automatically change the time
at the correct time. During summer time, '
the wall clock not automatically change the time, please press and hold -/RCC/
ZONE button to restart the reception process.

Press and hold MODE to enter setting Mode. The language of the day of the
week display will appear blinking on the display. Press +/ C/ F or -/RCC/ZONE
to select a language (GE=German, IT=Italian, FR=French, NE=Dutch, Es=
Spanish D =Danish, En=English). Confirm your selection by pressing MODE.
Set the year, month,date, hour (24 hour format), minute, 12/24 hours format,
time zone ( see second time zone) and reception setting (on/off) in the same
way. After 20 seconds with no button pressed the wall clock will automatically
exit setting mode and switch back to the normal time display. You may now
restart the reception process by pressing -/RCC/ZONE button.
Please note: If the reception is deactivated (OFF), the reception process
cannot be restarted by pressing and holding -/RCC/ZONE button.

13. Second time zone

You can use this function to set and display the time for any time zone. In its
basic setting the time zone is equal to the local time.
The earth is divided into 24 time zone. A time zone is a Section of the Earth's
surface where a common time applies. This usually runs along the longitudinal
lines from poles. When passing into another time changes by one hour. In an
easterly direction time moves forward by one hour and in a westerly direction
it moves backward by one hour. If, for example, you want to set the time for a
country which is 6 time zones west of your country, you will need to enter minus
6 hours.
