8. Please empty the waste basket in time. Otherwise, the shredder may jam.
9. Please do not leave the document shredder unattended e.g. in the event children
or pets are nearby.
10. The document shredder is only suitable for shredding paper, CD's, DVD's, and
credit cards. Please do not insert any other materials and only use the
designated feed slot for the respective material. The paper must be dry and
clean.
11. Never open the casing. In the event of problems with the device, please contact
our hotline.
12. Only use the document shredder in enclosed spaces. The document shredder
may not be used in outdoor areas.
13. Never pour any liquids into or onto the device
14. Only place the unit on a smooth and dry base. The use of an extension cord is
not recommended.

ELECTRICAL SAFETY GUIDELINES

Please disconnect the mains plug before not using the unit for a prolonged period
of time!
In the event of damage to the mains cord, the mains plug or the device itself,
please cease operating the device (risk of injury)!
Please do not attempt to repair the unit yourself!
Please do not overload the capacity of the socket!
The mains connection of the device must be freely accessible!
Do not modify the mains cord as it complies with the prescribed grid voltage!

Setting up the document shredder
Please first insert the collecting tray (for CDs/DVDs) in the waste basket.

Make sure that the waste basket is completely inserted in the shredder. In the

process, ensure that you do not catch your fingers between the waste
basket and the shredder.
Important note:
Ensure that the basket is properly fitted into the document shredder. To make
sure that CD / DVD remains drop into the inner trash tray, look for the correct
assembly.
