Troubleshooting
Problem
The orange Service
T DISC is damaged
or lost.
Descaling tabs are
required.
LED R (Fill water
tank) lights up.
LED R (Fill water
tank) lights up even
though there is
enough water in the
water tank.
LED Q (Descale)
and LED R (Fill
water tank) light
up simultaneously
and brewing is not
possible.
LED Q (Descale)
and the status
display flash
simultaneously
LED Q (Descale)
lights up.
LED Q (Descale)
lights up even
though decalcified
water has been
used.
LED Q (Descale)
flashes.
All LEDs flashing.

Cause
There is not enough water in
the water tank.
The float in the water tank is
stuck.
The water tank is not inserted
correctly.
There is a fault on the
machine.
The descaling process is
running.
The appliance needs to be
descaled.
Even decalcified water
contains low amounts of
calcium carbonate.
Appliance must be descaled
urgently.
There is a problem with the
voltage of the power supply.
Solution
The following accessories can be
obtained via Bosch customer service,
www.bosch-home.com and
www.tassimo.com (see the end of this
instruction manual for contact details):
Orange Service T DISC
(item no. 17001491),
descaling tabs
(TCZ6004 / item no. 00311909)
(TCZ6008 /item no. 00312249)
Fill the tank with cold, fresh water as far as
the a mark. Reinsert the water tank.
Clean the water tank and free the float.
Check that the water tank is correctly
inserted.
Unplug the mains plug. Please contact the
TASSIMO careline.
Wait until the descaling process is
complete.
Descale the appliance. Please refer here
to the section Descaling. Do not use
descaling agent with phosphoric acid.
Descale the appliance. Please refer here

Descale the appliance at once. Please refer
here to the section Descaling. Do not use
descaling agent with phosphoric acid.
Unplug the appliance and then plug back in
again. If the problem persists for a lengthy
period, have the voltage of your power
supply checked by an electrician.
