3. Additional manufacturer safety
instructions
- When the grooving machine is not in use,
before all servicing work, before changing
the cutter, etc.: unplug the cable!
- Ensure that the machine is switched off be-
fore inserting the plug in the socket.
- Check plug and cable for damage before
inserting. If damage is found, replacement
must be made immediately by a technician.
- Make sure before starting the grooving ma-
chine that the rated voltage on the name-
plate corresponds with the mains voltage.
The machine is only suitable for AC power
supplies.
- The Lamello grooving machine is double-
insulated and (conforming to CEE and VDE
re gu la tions) has a two-conductor cable wit-
hout ground conductor. The machine can be
con nected without risk to an ungrounded
socket.
- Do not drill the motor case (e.g. to attach labels)
since this damages the double insulation.
Use only adhesive labels for labelling.
- Clamp workpiece.
- Guide machine with both hands.
- Use only perfectly sharpened cutters, since
otherwise increased cutting forces may
shift the work away.
- Use only cutters rated for manual feed.
- Do not stop the cutter after switching off.
- The baseplate must function sa tis factorily,
without jamming. Do not use the machine
with a damaged baseplate.
- The baseplate must not be clamped with
the cutter driven out.
- The machine should only be used for the
applications described in these operating
instructions.

3. Indicaciones de seguridad adicionales
del fabricante
- Desconecte el enchufe de la red cuando
no usa la fresadora, y muy especialmente
antes de hacer trabajos de servicio, antes
de cambiar la fresa, etc.
- Conecte el enchufe con la red, solo si la
máquina está desconectada.
- Antes de enchufar, compruebe que ni el en-
chufe ni el cable están dañados. En caso
de daños, hágalos cambiar inmediatamen-
te por un especialista.
- Verifique antes de la puesta en servicio
de la fresadora si la tensión indicada en la
placa de datos coincide con la de la red. La
máquina funciona sólo con corriente alterna.
- La fresadora tiene un aislamiento doble
(según las reglamentaciones de CEE y
VDE) y tiene un cable de dos almas sin
conductor de protección. Puede conectar
la máquina sin inconveniente un tomacor-
riente sin puesta a tierrra.
- No taladre en la carcasa del motor (p.ej.
para fijar placas), ya que de este modo
se elimina el aislamiento doble. Use solo
pegatinas para fines de marcación.
- Apretar la pieza
- Guiar la máquina con las dos manos
- Use solo fresas perfectamente afiladas, si
no las fuerzas de corte elevadas pueden
hacer saltar la pieza a trabajar, de forma
que se la separa.
- Use sólo fresas para avance manual.
- No frene la fresa después de haberla de-
sconectado.
- La placa de base tiene que funcionar per-
fectamente, sin atascarse. No utilizar una
fresadora con defectuosa.
- No debe atascarse la placa de base estan-
do la fresa sacada.
