and liability
WARNING Read all safety warnings
and all instructions. Failure to follow the warnings
and instructions may result in electric shock, fire
and/or serious injury. Save all warnings and ins-
tructions for future reference.
1. Caution: Safety instructions for cutters
- Disc cutters must be rated for at least the speed
marked on the tool. Disc cutters running over
rated speed can fly apart and cause injury.
- Always use the guard. The guard protects the
operator from broken disc cutter fragments and
unintentional contact with the disc cutter.
- Hold power tool by insulated gripping surfaces,
because the cutter may contact its own cord.
Cutting a live wire may make exposed metal
parts of the power tool live and could give the
operator an electric shock.
2. Caution: Safety instructions for cutting-off
applications
- The guard provided with the tool must be secu-
rely attached to the power tool and positioned
for maximum safety, so the least amount of
wheel is exposed towards the operator. Po-
sition yourself and bystanders away from the
plane of the rotating wheel. The guard helps to
protect operator from broken wheel fragments
and accidental contact with wheel.
- Wear personal protective equipment. Depen-
ding on application, use face shield, safety gog-
gles or safety glasses . As appropriate, wear
dust mask, hearing protectors, gloves and shop
apron capable of stopping smal I abrasive or
workpiece fragments. The eye protection must
be capable of stopping flying debris generated
by various operations. The dust mask or respi-
rator must be capable of filtrating particles ge-

1. Advertencia Indicaciones de seguridad para
fresas
- Las fresas siempre deben utilizarse a la veloci-
dad de giro indicada. Una fresa que gira a una
velocidad excesiva puede romperse y provocar
lesiones.
- Utilizar la máquina siempre con la placa de
base. Esta placa sirve de protección contra
eventuales fragmentos de la fresa que podrían
desprenderse durante el trabajo y contra un
contacto involuntario con la herramienta en
rotación.
- Sujetar siempre la fresadora de ranuras por las
superficies de agarre aisladas, ya que la fresa
podría seccionar el cable de la misma máquina.
Un cable pelado puede entrar en contacto con
las partes metálicas de la máquina y provocar
una descarga eléctrica.
2. Advertencia Indicaciones de seguridad
para aplicaciones con amoladora angular
- El protector suministrado con la herramienta
debe estar firmemente sujeto a la herramienta
electroportátil y posicionado de modo que
quede expuesta al operario la menor cantidad
de disco para una máxima seguridad. Sitúense
usted y los demás lejos del plano del disco gira-
torio. El protector ayuda a proteger al operador
de los fragmentos de discos rotos y del contacto
accidental con el disco.
