Clinical applications

Indications for Use

ConformX mattress replacement is indicated
for users up to 150 kg (330 lb / 24 stones).
Suitable for a wide range of patients including
with an individualised plan of care).
Note: These are guidelines only and should
not replace clinical experience or judgment.
If there is no improvement in the patient's
condition, specialist advice should be sought.
WARNING
The cover of this product is vapour permeable but
risk. It is the responsibility of the care giver to
ensure that the user can use this product safely.
If a serious incident occurs in relation to
the patient then the user or patient should
report the serious incident to the medical
device manufacturer or the distributor. In the
the serious incident to the Competent Authority
in the member state where they are located.

Instructions for Use
Mattress replacement system:
1. Remove all packaging.
2. Lay the ConformX mattress replacement
onto the bed frame, ensuring that there
are no sharp edges which may rip the
cover.
Do not use the mattress without a cover. It helps
extend the life of the product and provides a
protective barrier against biological contamination
3. Ensure the correct month is showing on
the Turntable
cover. If the incorrect month is showing,
rotate the mattress to show correct month
at the foot end. Months are indicated as
follows:
1/12 = January
2/12 = February, etc.
4. Turntable indicator as a guide for
the monthly rotation and turning of the
mattress. This helps to even out wear of
the mattress and to extend the life of the
product.
