Cleaning the Internal Cavity
Perform the following procedure if you suspect that fluids have soiled the Adapter Cable's internal cavity:
WARNING
During the following procedure, always point the Adapter Cable's Spiral Electrode Input
from your face, to avoid being sprayed by the discharged waste and rinse.
Step

Fill a 10cc syringe with a recommended cleaning solution.
Lift open the cover on the Adapter Cable Flush-Cleaning Port

Hold the Adapter Cable over a sink, then:
A. Insert the syringe into the Flush-Cleaning Port
inject the cleaning solution into the cavity.
B. When the cavity is filled, press the Flush-Cleaning Port cover
closed.
C. Rest the Adapter Cable in the sink with the Spiral Electrode
Input
pointing up, allowing the internal cavity to soak for 5-
10 minutes.

After 5-10 minutes:
A. Pick up the Adapter Cable and open the cover on the Flush-
Cleaning Port
B. Fill the syringe with clean water.
C. Insert the syringe into the Flush-Cleaning Port
idly inject the cavity, discharging the rinse water into the sink.
D. Repeat the clean water injection 2-3 times to assure a thor-
ough rinse.
Using an empty syringe, inject air into the Flush-Cleaning Port

excess water. Close the Flush-Cleaning Port
Cleaning the Internal Cavity (Optional, as Needed)

Slowly inject cleaning

and slowly
Rapidly inject clean
water, directing the
discharge into the
sink
and rap-
. Repeat 4-5 times to remove
cover before returning the Adapter Cable to use.
