10. Commissioning

MT Function

Use the MT function (Master Tempo) to retain the original tone height of a title even with the playback speed
changed.
Press the button MT (26) to activate or deactivate the MT function. The MT button lights up when the function
is activated.
Change the playback speed with the PITCH slider. The playback speed changes but the title tone height
remains as it was.

BPM Function

The TAP (25) button can be used to determine the beats per minute (Bpm) of a track.
Press the TAP button (25) in the rhythm of the music during playback.
The LC display (17) shows the result next to the "BPM" display.
Keep the TAP button (25) pushed to activate AUTO BPM. The BPM are now determined automatically.

BRAKE Function

The BRAKE function makes the track start or stop slowly after the PLAY/PAUSE button (14) was pushed. This
function simulates start-up or stop of a record.
Push and hold the BRAKE button (12). Set the start-up and lag time (0.5 - 6.0 seconds) for the BRAKE func-
tion with the JOG wheel (24).
Push the button BRAKE (12) to activate or deactivate this function. The button lights up when the BRAKE func-
tion is activated.

REVERSE Function

When the REVERSE function is activated, the track is played backwards.
Push the button REVERSE (11) to activate or deactivate this function. The button lights up when the REVERSE
function is activated.

TIME

Use the TIME (20) button to switch between the different times displayed (remaining track time > total remaining
time > elapsed track time) on the display.
Push the TIME button (20) until the desired time display appears in the LC display.
The total remaining time is only displayed for audio CDs. In USB mode or for CDs with MP3 music files,
the total playing time is not indicated.
