1.
Remove the battery earth cable.
Remove the covering in the boot.
Make entrance to both rearlight units.

Drill a 11 mm large hole underneath the right rearlight unit.
Drill a 13 mm large hole underneath the left rearlight unit.
Carefully remove all metal splinters and threat the edges with an anti-corrosion paint.
Put the rubber grommets in the hole.

The wiring harness is put in the boot.
Lead the end with the green, brown and white wire through the right grommet to the socket.
Lead the end with the yellow, blue, red, black and grey wire through the left grommet to the socket.
(Careful. Hot exhaust!)
Fit both ends with the included wire ties.
Pull the rubber coverplate over the wiring harness.
Remove the contactholder from the socket and fit the wires as follows:
Trailer lighting:
Left turn signal
Rearfoglight
Earth
Right turn signal
Right taillight
Brakelights
Left taillight
Rearfoglight
Mount the socket to the towbar.

6-pole connectors are located at both rearlight units.
Disconnect the connectors at the right side.
Connect the wiring harness's connectors with the green, white and brown
wire correspondingly.
Disconnect the connectors at the left side.
Connect the wiring harness's connectors with the grey, blue, black, yellow
and red wire correspondingly.
Mount the connectors which are connected to the printed-circuit-board with
a wire tie, to prevent them from getting loose (see ill.).
Fit the white wire to chassis earth.
5.
Reconnect the battery and check all electric functions, with trailer/caravan connected.
Reinstall disassembled parts.
