PRECAUTIONS
Avoid possible harm when operating the machine.

This product has been designed for domestic use only. Inappropriate use or failure to
comply with the instructions, the manufacturer accepts no responsibility and the
guarantee will not apply.
l
The appliance must not be placed inside a cabinet or kitchen unit during use.
l
The machine is intended to prepare beverages according to these instructions. This
machine is intended to be used in household and other similar applications.
l
Do not use the machine for other than intended use.
l
Do not use the machine if it is damaged or not operating perfectly. Immediately remove
the plug from the power socket. Return the machine to SPECIAL.T Club for examination,
repair or adjustment. A damaged machine can cause electrical shocks, burns and fire.
l
Always close the lever completely and never lift it during operation. Scalding may occur.
Do not put fingers into the capsule compartment or the capsule shaft. Danger of injury!
l
Do not put fingers under tea dispensing spout. Risk of scalding!
l
The surface of the heating element remains hot after use and the outside of the appliance
may retain the heat for several minutes depending on use.
l
Never use a damaged or deformed capsule. Water could flow around the capsule when
not perforated by the blades and damage machine.
l
Do not use the machine without drip tray and drip grid to avoid any liquid on surrounding
surfaces.
l
Never use a household cleaning product or solvent to wash your machine. Use a damp
cloth and soft detergent to clean the machine surface.
l
When unpackaging the machine, remove the plastic foil placed on the drip grid and
dispose.
l
This machine operates with the SPECIAL.T capsules only and fresh potable water (no
other fluids e.g milk, alcohol nor allergen-containing foods)
l
All SPECIAL.T machines are subject to strict controls. Random functional checks are
conducted on selected units under real operating conditions. Some units may therefore
shows signs of prior use.
Save these instructions.
Pass them on to any subsequent user. SPECIAL.T reserves the right to
modify these instructions without prior notice.
