CLEANING AND MAINTENACE
During winters, the lack of humidity can dry out your skin and cause irritated nasal, frequent
colds, sore throats and etc. Humidiiers provide relative humidity to protect our health.
To get the most of the beneit from the humidiier and avoid product failure, follow all
maintenance instructions carefully. If the recommended care and maintenance guidelines
are not followed, micro-organisms may be able to grow in the water within the humidiier.
Daily Maintenance
1. Before cleaning, turn OFF the unit and unplug it from the electrical outlet.
2. Lift off the tank and the housing of the humidiier.
3. Carry the water tank to a sink, then drain and rinse the water tank thoroughly to
remove any sediment and dirt. Wipe clean and dry with a clean soft cloth or paper towel.
4. Reill the water tank with cool tap water as instructed in illing the water tank instructions.
Weekly Maintenance
5. Repeat steps 1-3 above as mentioned above.
6. Fill one cup of white vinegar (about 200ml) to the basin for about 15 minutes, and then
wipe off the scale in the basin especially in the transducer with a soft brush.
7. Remove the scale and white vinegar solution with a clean soft cloth.
Caution
1. Make sure main body is never submerged into water
2. Do not use any solvents or aggressive cleaning agents to clean the humidiier.
3. Clean the inner parts with a soft cloth.
4. Only use the brush to clean the transducer. This should be done once a week.
5. Only use the soft-bristle portion of the brush.
6. Change the water in the water tank at least once a week if water is standing for more
than one week.
We recommend the following:
1. If you water is very hard, we recommend that you boil it irst, allow it to cool completely
before use in the humidiier. The boiling will reduce the mineral concentration in the water.
The other option is to use distilled water if your mineral level is still too high.
2. If you are using the machine on a daily basis, clean the transducer, water tank and basin
once a week.
3. When the water tank needs a reill, empty the remaining water from the tank and ill it
with fresh water.
4. Clean the whole machine and make sure to keep all the parts completely dry when the
machine is not in use.
