All pumps are equipped with a Super Vortex impeller. This special impeller combines
a large water capacity with the possibility to move dirt particles up to 6 mm. The
pumps have been put in a specially constructed housing (preliminary filter scale), so
that the coarse dirt particles can not penetrate into the impeller room. The acces-
sories supplied along permit to use the High-Stream pumps both in the pond (wet
installation) and outside (dry installation).
USE IN THE POND
Mount the discharge hose socket including sealing ring on top of the connection of
the pump. Connect the return hose to it for a waterfall, a stream or a foam effect
fountain. Use the largest possible hose diameter in order to utilize the water capacity
completely. To achieve this the unused diameter(s) of the socket should be sawn off.
Place the pump on the bottom of the pond, avoiding places with sludge.
USE OUTSIDE THE POND
The High-Stream pumps can also be used outside the pond, for example for pressure
filters and larger filter installations. As the pumps are no self-priming ones, they should
always be placed at least 20 cm lower than the water level. Before using the pump, the
hose should have been filled with water. Always use Teflon tape to obtain proper
watertightness. By pressing the click fingers of the preliminary filter scale, the scale
will open and the round closing part can be removed. Wind the Teflon tape that is
supplied along round the infeed and output of the pump. Mount the infeed hose
socket including sealing ring to the infeed side of the pump. Close the scales again so
that they fit well, taking care that the flex fits again in the recess that is meant for it.
