Appendix A: Determining Which Cable You Need

Pipes must be at least 3 feet (0.9 m) long and at least ⅜" and no more than 1 ½" in diameter. For pipes of other sizes,
call 800.562.6587 for suggestions for other products.
Measure your pipe straight along the bottom of a horizontal pipe or on the "weather side" of a vertical pipe (including
valves).
Single cables are available to protect the following lengths of pipe:
• 3 - 4 ft (0.9 - 1.2 m), Cat. #: AHB013
• 3 - 7 ft (0.9 - 2.1 m), Cat. #: AHB016
• 6 - 10 ft (1.8 - 3 m), Cat. #: AHB019
