Caution The spiral flat spring must be completely released before any service!
How to demount the hose reel 040460-06x12 and 040460-09x8
•
Disconnect the hose reel from the supply of fluid or gas.
•
Draw the hose completely from the reel. Stop the drum (Pos. 180).
•
Detach the hose with the reinforcement (Pos. 230).
•
Take off the reel and release the spiral spring by stopping the drum manually.
Caution The drum is spring pressured: Never release!
Injury danger and spring damages risks!
•
Release the hexagonal screw (Pos. 60) and the double nipple (Pos. 270).
•
Take off the drum (Pos. 180).
•
Remove the drum: the spring cover (Pos. 80) must face upwards.
•
Unscrew the spring cover and take it off carefully.
•
Carefully take off the spiral flat spring (Pos. 90) and secure it against springing out.
•
Strik the dowel pin (Pos. 120) out and take off the spring driver (Pos. 130) from the axis.
•
Remove the retaining ring (Pos. 140) and take off the axis (Pos. 220).
•
Remove the retaining ring (Pos. 260) and remove the rotating body (Pos. 250).
•
Remove the rings (Pos. 140).
How to demount the hose reel 040460-06x20 and 040460-09x20
•
Disconnect the hose reel from the supply of fluid or gas.
•
Draw the hose completely from the reel. Stop the drum (Pos. 180).
•
Detach the hose with the reinforcement (Pos. 230).
•
Take off the reel and release the spiral spring by stopping the drum manually.
Caution The drum is spring pressured: Never release!

Release the hexagonal screw (Pos. 60) and the double nipple (Pos. 270).
•
Lift the drum and draw out the axis (Pos. 220).
•
Take off the drum (Pos. 180).
•
Release the screws (Pos. 280) and take off the spring driver (Pos. 130).
•
Take off the support (the spring cover (Pos. 80) upwards).
•
Unscrew the spring cover (Pos. 80) and carefully take it off.
•
Carefully take off the spiral flat spring (Pos. 90) and secure it against springing out.
•
Remove the retaining ring (Pos. 260) and remove the rotating body (Pos. 250).
•
Remove the rings (Pos. 240).
How to reinstall the hose reel
Assemble the hose reel in opposite sequences.
For the installation of the hose, refer to the chapter "Installation of the hose".
Advice If the hose has not to be completely coiled up on the drum, the spring tension must be re-adjusted (refer to the
chapter "Adjustment of the spring tension").
