Indications:
In the unlikely event of screw fracture, the Certain
the removal of a broken screw from the internal threads of the OSSEOTITE
Contraindications:
The Certain Screw Removal Tool Kit is not to be used to remove screws from an External Hex
Implant.
Warnings:
The Certain Screw Removal Tool Kit and its components are intended to be used only with
BIOMET 3i Certain Implant screws.
Precautions:
Slight to moderate pressure is to be applied when using the components.
Reuse of BIOMET 3i products that are labeled for single-use may result in product contamination,
patient infection and/or failure of the device to perform as intended.
Cleaning and Sterilization:
Since the components of the Certain Screw Removal Tool Kit are reusable, these must be cleaned
and sterilized prior to use. Refer to P-IFSCSS for complete information.
Side Effects:
When used according to these instructions, there are no known side effects.
Caution:
Federal law restricts this device to sale by or on the order of a licensed dentist.

Guide Handle into the broken screw
site. Seat the handle assembly fully
on the platform of the implant with
the hex aligned. Note: The ISRT05
Guide Handle fits both standard and
3.25mm(D) Certain Implants.
Reversing Drill into the ISRT05
Guide Handle. Firmly seat the drill
point(s) onto the surface of the
broken screw inside the implant.
Slowly (with slight to moderate
pressure on the screw) turn the
ISRT07 Manual Reversing Drill one
to two revolutions in the reverse
direction (counter-clockwise). Do
not continue to loosen the screw
from the implant.
