Start-up

ATTENTION!
Connect the lamp only to a wall socket, which correspond to the technical data of the
lamp (see section "Technical Data").
Place the lamp only at a min. distance of 20 cm to fl ammable materials such as cur-
tains etc.
1. Place the lamp on an even, stable, and dry underground so she can't fall down.
2. Remove the packaging material from the bulb. This serves merely to secure the de-
vice during transport.
3. Check if the bulb is placed correctly into the mounting and the lamp holder.
4. Turn the head of lamp into the desired position. The fl exible lamp neck allows you to
adjust it continuously.
5. Insert the mains plug into an easily accessible, correctly installed mains socket.
6. Now you can turn the lamp on and off. Therefore set the On/Off switch to posi-
tion I (on) or position 0 (out).

1. Unpack all parts and check the scope of supply for com-
pleteness (see section "Scope of Supply and Product
Overview"); also check for transport damage. If you fi nd
any damage to the components, do not use them (!), but
contact our customer service department.
2. Pull the cables, placed in the upper part of the lamp, as far
as possible out and guide them through the middle pole.
Then screw the middle pole in the upper part of the lamp.
3. Connect the two plug connections. The plugs have to lock
audibly into place.
4. Place the middle pole on the connecting element. Make
sure that no cable is caught. The holes of the middle pole
and of the connecting element have to be put on top of
each other.
5. Insert the enclosed screw in the hole of the middle pole
and tighten it using a screwdriver.
