Risk of Injury
Keep children and pets away from packaging material. Risk of
suffocation!
Keep children away from the lamp. Don't let them alone with the
lamp. It is not suitable for children.
Keep animals away from the lamp! The lamp is not to be used
for irradiation of animals, such as hamsters, poults etc., or for
irradiation of lamps. Risk of burning!
The lamp is not suitable for irradiation of persons.
Do not look directly into the light source! Your eyes could be
injured.
Let the lamp cool down completely before changing the bulb,
cleaning the lamp or putting the lamp away. Risk of burning!
Be careful when inserting and changing the bulb. Risk of break-
age and therefore risk of injury!
Electricity – Risk of Electric Shock!
Keep the lamp away from humidity.
The lamp should only be connected to a properly installed sock-
et. The socket must also be readily accessible after connection.
The mains voltage must be the same as that stated in the tech-
nical data of the lamp (see section "Technical Data"). Only use
suitable extension cables whose technical data is the same as
that of the lamp (see section "Technical Data").
Always check the lamp for damage before putting it into opera-
tion. If the lamp, mains cable or plug show visible signs of dam-
age, the lamp must not be used.
If the lamp, mains cable or plug are defective, do not try to repair
the lamp yourself. In case of damage, please have the lamp re-
paired only by an offi cial repair service or the customer service
department.
Remove the mains plug from the mains socket
– if you are not going to use the lamp over a longer period of
time
