EMPTYING LIQUID WATERS FROM THE TANK

Your Stanley Wet/Dry may be emptied of liquid
waste by removing the power head. To empty,
stop the motor and remove the plug from the wall
receptacle. Remove the power head and deposit
the liquid waste contents in a suitable drain. After
the tank is empty, return the cover to its original
position. To continue use, plug the cord into the
wall receptacle and start the motor.
AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF / ARRÊT AUTOMATIQUE / APAGADO AUTOMÁTICO
The cleaner is equipped with an automatic shut-off
that operates when picking up liquids. As the level
of the liquid rises, an internal float rises until it seats
itself against a seal at the intake of the motor,
shutting off suction. When this happens, the motor
will develop a higher than normal pitch noise. To
continue use, empty the liquid waste from the tank
as outlined in the previous paragraph.
NOTE: IF ACCIDENTALLY TIPPED OVER, THE
VACUUM COULD CLOSE SUCTION. IF THIS
OCCURS, PLACE VAC IN UPRIGHT POSITION
AND TURN SWITCH OFF. THIS WILL ALLOW
THE FLOAT TO RETURN TO ITS NORMAL
POSITION, AND YOU WILL BE ABLE TO
CONTINUE OPERATION.
BLOWER FEATURE / FONCTION SOUFFLEUR / FUNCIÓN DE SOPLADOR
This vacuum can be used as a powerful
blower. To use your unit as a blower insert
hose end into the top exhaust port (Figure
14).Clear hose of any obstructions before
attaching to blower port. Caution should be
used when using as a blower due to the
powerful force of air when using certain
attachments.

Enlevez le couvercle du réservoir pour vider
les détrituts liquides de votre aspirateur pour
détrituts secs/humides Stanley. Pour vider le
réservoir, arrêtez le moteur et débranchez la fiche
du cordon de la prise de courant. Déposez le
couvercle du réservoir et videz les déchets
liquides dans un drain adéquat. Après avoir vidé le
réservoir, remettez le couvercle dans sa position
d'origine. Pour continuer d'utiliser l'aspirateur,
rebranchez la fiche du cordon d'alimentation dans
la prise de courant et démarrez le moteur.
Cet aspirateur est équipé d' u n dispositif d' a rrêt
automatique intervenant lors de l' a spiration des
liquides. Au fur et à mesure que le niveau des
liquides monte, le flotteur interne s'évèle et vient se
placer contre un joint placé côté aspirateur du
moteur, arrêtant ainsi l'aspiration. À ce moment-là,
le moteur se met à faire un bruit plus aigu. Pour
continuer d' a spirer, videz le liquide du réservoir
comme il est indiqué au paragraphe précédent.
NOTA: SI, PAR ACCIDENT, L' A PPAREIL EST
RENVERSE, L' A SPIRATION PEUT EN ÊTRE
INTERROMPUE. DANS CE CAS, REMETTEZ
L'ASPIRATEUR À LA VERTICALE ET METTEZ
L' I NTERRUPTEUR SUR ARRÊT. AINSI, LE
FLOTTEUR RETOUVERA SA POSITION
NORMALE ET VOUS POURREZ ALORS
CONTINUER.
Cet aspirateur peut être utillsé comme
souffleur puissant. Pour utiliser l'aspirateur
en tant que souffleur, introduire le tuyau
souple dans l'orifice d'echappement qui se
trouve en haunt de l'aspirateur (Figure14).
Enlever tout ce qui pourrait obsstruer le
tuyau avant de fixer ce dernier sur l'orifice
souffleur. Il faut être extrêmement prudent

avec certains accessories, l'air peut sortir
avec une force extreme.

A su STANLEY para líquidos y sólidos se le
pueden vaciar los residuos líquidos quitando la
cubierta del tanque. Para vaciarlos, apague el
motor y quite el enchufe del receptáculo pared.
Retire la cubierta del tanque y deposite los
residuos líquidos en un drenaje adecuado.
Después de que el tanque está vacío, regrese la
cubierta a su posición original. Para continuar su
uso, conecte el cordón al receptáculo de pared y
encienda el motor.
La aspiradora está equipada con un sistema de
apagado auomático que funciona al aspirar líquidos.
Conforme el nivel del líquido aumenta, también lo
hace un flotador inerno hasta que llega hasta la
marca de la admisión del líquido, desconectando la
succión. Cuando esto suceda, el motor hará un
ruido normal más fuerte de lo común. Para
continuar su uso, vacíe los residuos líquidos del
tanque como se describe en el párrafo anterior.
NOTA: SI SE INCLINA ACCIDENTALMENTE,
LA ASPIRADORA PODRÍA PERDER SUCCIÓN.
SI ESTO OCURRE, APAGUE LA UNIDAD Y
COLOQUE LA ASPIRADORA EN POSICIÓN
VERTICAL.. ESTO PERMITIRÁ QUE EL
FLOTADOR REGRESE A SU POSICIÓN
NORMAL Y USTED PODRÁ CONTINUAR CO
LA OPERACIÓN.
Esta aspiradora puede ser usada como un
potente soplador. Para utilizar su unidad
como soplador, inserte la manguera
dentro del orificio de escape superior
(Figura 14). Elimine cualquier obstrucción
de la manguera antes de anexarla al
puerto del soplador. Debe tener cuidado
cuando utilice la unidad como soplador
debido a la potente fuerza del aire cuando
utilize ciertos aditamentos.
