If these do not contain any instructions expressly to the
contrary, proceed as follows:
Note – Power Delivery
• Plug & GO: no additional software required, simply
plug in and start:
Thanks to Power Delivery/Thunderbolt™ 3, the voltage
and power are adjusted automatically.
• Be aware that, for e cient and optimised charging,
your terminal device must support the PD (Power
Delivery)/TBT3 (Thunderbolt™ 3) function.
• If you have a large number of PD/TBT3-enabled
terminal devices with different rmware updates, it
may be that the function is not fully supported.
• Connect the USB-C cable to the power supply unit and
your terminal device.
• Then connect the mains connector to the car electrical
system's car socket.
• The terminal device can now be used and switched on /
charged.
Note regarding the car battery
• With some vehicles, it can happen that power
continues to be supplied even though the ignition has
been switched off.
• You should therefore disconnect the product from the
car electrical system after switching the engine off to
protect your car battery from being drained.
Note regarding the USB-A socket
You have the option of charging or operating USB
devices from the power supply unit's USB socket, e.g.
tablet PC, smartphone, etc. The maximum output current
from the USB socket is 2 A.
5. Care and Maintenance
Note
Disconnect the product from the mains before cleaning.
• Only clean this product with a slightly damp, lint-free
cloth and do not use aggressive cleaning agents.
• Ensure that no water is able to enter the product.
