Preliminary instructions
Safety instructions
These instructions explain how the product functions. Keep them carefully so you can consult them if required. Please ensure that
you only use the product as stated in the instructions. Incorrect use can harm the product or its environment.
Never open the device. Never try to repair yourself
Handle the product carefully. A knock, a blow, or a fall, even from a low height, can damage it,
Do not expose the product to humidity or extreme heat,
Never immerse the product in water or any other liquid,
Keep the product out of reach of children under 14,
This appliance is not designed to be used by people with impaired physical, sensorial or mental capacities or people without
experience or knowledge,
If the supply cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer
Warranty cover will be lost if the TilRoue is misused,
The manufacturer disclaims all liability for physical damage or injury (physical or psychological) caused by improper use and/or
failure to comply with the safety instructions.
WARNING
This vehicle does not satisfy the requirements of the Highway Code !
Do not use it on the public highway !
Do not use it for jumps or figures !
Do not use this appliance in the rain or on black ice !
Do not use it if you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Avoid riding on an uneven surface.
Do not ride faster than the recommended speed. Do lot overload the appliance above the authorized weight.
PLEASE NOTE
Extreme care is required when using the TilRoue. Dexterity is required to avoid falls and collisions which could cause injuries.
It is essential to wear suitable safety equipment when using the TilRoue : Helmet, gloves, knee pads, elbow pads, and good
shoes.
Safety instructions concerning the lithium battery
The TilRoue is powered by a lithium battery, which must be used with care. If the battery heats up excessively, switch off the
TilRoue immediately and contact your dealer.
Warning
Replace the used battery by contacting the manufacturer or the dealer,
If a battery leaks, remove it from the battery compartment with a cloth,
Prevent battery acid coming into contact with the eyes, skin and mucous membranes. If the acid affects any of these areas,
rinse with large amounts of freshwater and call a doctor immediately.
Important instructions for batteries and recycling them
Used batteries must never be thrown into the household garbage,
Keep batteries out of reach of children,
Leaking batteries are dangerous. Do not handle them without suitable gloves,
Do not try to open the batteries,
Do not allow a battery to heat to over 60° C. Do not throw it into a fire,
Stop charging immediately if the battery overheats. A battery which heats up strongly or which deforms during charging is
defective.
Risk of injury
Using the TilGreen brand's TilRoue can involve risks of injury caused by losing control, a collision or a fall. To reduce these risks, it is
important to read and respect all the instructions and warnings in the instructions for use before a first use.
Instructions for use
When using TilRoue for the first time, use it in an obstacle-free area to get accustomed to acceleration, braking, turning etc...
Use the TilRoue exclusively on a smooth surface, without any bumps or holes more than 2 cms high/deep. The wheels could get stuck in
hole/bumps over 2 cm deep, causing a fall.
Legislation
It is prohibited to use the TilRoue on public roads. In the event of an accident, you could be held liable under articles 1382 and 1383 of
the Civil Code.
It is strongly recommended to wear a crash helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, and gloves,
Use is prohibited for anyone under 14,
Do not use the TilRoue in the rain,
Do not use the TilRoue close to vehicles, people or obstacles,
Do not use in areas at risk from fire, explosion or in service stations
Use by two people, even respecting the maximum weight is prohibited.
Always ensure that you adapt your speed to the weather conditions or the environment.
Vibrations and shocks
Using the TilRoue can cause significant vibrations and shocks depending on the surface. Do not use the TilRoue for too long, to prevent
problems caused by vibrations.
Electrical risk
Chargers are under high voltage. It is strictly prohibited to dismantle the charger or the battery block..
Lights
Although the TilRoue is fitted with a front and rear LED light, it is essential to wear visible clothing if it is used at night.
Warranty conditions
Your TilRoue is covered by a 2 year warranty from the date of purchase. Please keep the purchase invoice as well as the original
packing which will be required for transport, and the warranty.
This warranty does not cover:
Any damage caused by accidents, misuse, poor use, improper use,
Any damage caused by an immersion or exposure to a wet and/or saline climate
Any damage caused by any intervention by any person other than the people authorized by the manufacturer or the importer
A product or a part which has been modified without the manufacturer or importer's written authorization
The use of a charger which is not supplied by the manufacturer or importer.
Damage to the structure caused by shocks is not covered by the warranty and can lead to the total abandonment of the product
warranty. External shocks can damage internal components such as the electronic card and battery. Spare parts will be available for 2
years. Spare parts (charger etc) are only available from your reseller.
