FUNCTION DESCRI P TION
The PowerPacks Basic have two operating modes:
POWER OFF - IN USE
These modes are clearly indicated on the
PowerPack status display (red LED).
Each PowerPack can be individually set to one of
three different heat levels.
I MPORTANT I NSTRUCTIONS FO R US E
 Insert the batteries into the housing as illustrated.
It is imperative to observe the proper polarity of
the batteries. Clean the contacts of the battery
and the device if necessary before insertion.
 Close the battery housing and plug in the heating
element cable all the way until you feel a click.
 When starting up, do not allow step 3 to be
switched on longer than a few minutes in each
case, otherwise too much heat can be produced
during operation – danger of burning.
 Always set PowerPacks to level 1 or 2 to

maintain a comfortable level of warmth for your
feet (heating should be almost undetectable).
 The optimum heat output is achieved when your
shoes and soles are dry.
O P E RA TI O N
The PowerPack Basic features a status display
(1.1) with 3 LEDs for indicating the heat level.
There are two control buttons (1.2) for setting the
heat level.
The PowerPacks Basic are turned off when all
LEDs on the status display are off.
Turning the device on:
Briefly press the control
button "+" (approx. 1 sec.)
to turn the PowerPack
Basic on at the lowest
heat level.
