• Do not cover the appliance.
• Do not place any objects on the appliance.
• Never place the appliance on the edge of a table – it could tip
over and fall.

Moisture penetrating into the appliance can lead to an
electric shock.
Do not place the appliance near sinks and keep
away from drips and splashes.

2.4. Mains connection

• Only connect the appliance to a properly installed 220-
240 V~50 Hz safety socket that is easy to reach and close to
the working area. Keep the plug socket free of obstructions so
that the plug can be pulled out easily.
• Remove the plug from the mains socket after each use, before
cleaning and during periods when the appliance is left unat-
tended.
• When disconnecting the appliance from the mains supply, al-
ways pull on the plug rather than on the cable.
• Unwind the cable fully when using the appliance.
• Do not kink or crush the mains cable.
• Avoid the use of extension cables in order to prevent tripping.
• Do not allow the mains cable to come into contact with hot
objects or surfaces (e.g. cooker hob).
• Do not allow the mains cable to come into contact with water
or other liquids.
