Note on the Acoustic Announcement
The acoustic announcements from the earphones are device-specific. Your blue-
tooth device has to support the announcement function. Therefore, the announce-
ments may differ from those mentioned in this manual, depending on the bluetooth
device used.

Establish a Bluetooth Connection

Bluetooth involves a technology for wireless radio connection of devices over a short
distance. The function radius is thereby restricted device-dependant to approx.
10 meters.
In order to transfer music wirelessly to the earphones, your player must support the
A2DP profile (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile). To be able to operate the source
by remote control, the player needs to support the AVRCP profile (Audio Video
Remote Control Profile). Due to the different device manufacturers, models, and
software versions, a full functionality cannot be guaranteed.
Depending on the playback device used, simultaneous coupling with several devic-
es is possible. This Bluetooth technology is called "Multipoint". Multipoint makes it
possible, for example, to connect two smartphones to one headphone, whereby you
play music from one smartphone and use the other one to make calls. However, it is
a prerequisite, that both devices support this function.
Logging on Devices (Pairing)
Before you can listen to music or make phone calls with the headphones, you need
to first register the devices with each other. While pairing, make sure that there is no
other player nearby with Bluetooth enabled.
1. Ensure, that the Bluetooth function is activated in your player (e.g. mobile phone).
For this, refer to the operation manual of your player.
2. Press and hold the
ON" and thereafter a beep can be heard. The indicator lamp flashes alternately
blue and red. The device is now set to the pairing mode.
3. Choose the Bluetooth menu in your player and register the device in your
player. For this, refer to the operation manual of your player. The device
"AEG KH 4232 BT" will be shown in your player for selection.
