PROPER USE AND RESTRICTIONS
WARNINGS: Any type of maintenance must be carried out with the bridge saw disconnected from the power
supply. The use of the Bridge Saw without wearing personal safety equipment is prohibited.
• The QEP 83012 must only be used to cut ceramic tiles, marble, granite, porcelain, and other masonry materials.
Incorrect use on materials such as wood, glass, and metals, will put the user's safety at risk. QEP is not
responsible for any incorrect use of the machine.
• Only continuous rim wet blades or turbo-blades can be mounted to the QEP 83012.
• Check that the water level in the tray is sufficient, and that the water pump is completely submerged to
safeguard the diamond blade and to avoid the spreading of large amounts of powder caused by the
cutting process.
• All adjustments must be carried out and worn parts replaced with the machine disconnected from the
power supply.
• The use of toothed blades designed for cutting wood, and any metal or similar materials is
absolutely prohibited.
• The operator is prohibited from using the machine without personal safety equipment.

INSTALLATION WARNING

THE USER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ENSURING THE MACHINE IS INSTALLED IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE
RELEVANT LOCAL REGULATIONS CURRENTLY IN FORCE.
THE MACHINE MUST BE INSTALLED BY QUALIFIED PERSONNEL WHO HAVE READ THIS OWNER'S MANUAL
CAREFULLY AND HAVE UNDERSTOOD THE INFORMATION HEREIN.
ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS REGARDING INSTALLATION MUST BE FOLLOWED.
WHEN IN DOUBT, CONSULT THE OWNER'S MANUAL OR CONTACT MANUFACTURER.
The installation must follow the few basic procedures indicated below:
1. Mount the 4 legs by inserting them into their housings (Fig.5).
2. Fix the motor support with the specially designed threaded rod and screw-grip (Fig. 6).
3. Fix the cable holding strip onto the tray with the nut and bolt (Fig. 7).
4. Always check that the switchboard panel provides the voltage and frequency indicated on the motor
information plate.
5. Never connect the motor to a switchboard panel, which is not grounded.
6. ELECTRIC SHOCK RISK: NEVER POSITION THE MACHINE ON UNEVEN SURFACES.
