BEFORE FIRST USE

Checking packaging upon consignment
When the goods are received proceed with opening the packaging if there are no
signs of damage. If when the goods are delivered there are signs of damage to the
packaging, such as agent or courier, and within three days from the date indicated on
the documents draw up a detailed list and report of all damage to the goods.
Do not turn the packed goods upside down! When transporting the package make
sure its four main points are firmly secured (maintain the goods parallel to the
ground).
Disposing of packaging
The various items used for packaging (cardboard, plastic straps, polyurethane foam)
should be conserved, so that the device can be sent back to the service centre in best
conditions in case of problem.
DEVICE INSTALLING
Appliance location
The work surface where the device will be located must be suitable for the size of
the appliance, please refer to the measurements. The work surface must be levelled
and dry and at a fitting height from the ground to enable a proper use of the device.
The environmental humidity shouldn't be over 85%. The power cord connected with
the appliance must be reliable grounding and correspond to the technical details.
OPERATION
• Add 0.6 litres of water to the outer container before placing the inner contai-
ner insert into the warmer. Never over-fill with water. Under no circumstances
should the inner container float, ever when empty. Remove any excess water
immediately.
• Put the plug into the power socket.

• Turn the soup kettle on. The indicator light will glow, showing that the unit is on.
Adjust the temperature control dial to the correct setting:
• Settings 8-12 are designed for initial warm-up.
• Normal control settings range from1-8.
• Once the kettle has reached the desired temperature, adjust the tempe-
rature control dial to a lower setting. It is recommended that the lowest
possible setting that maintains food serving temperatures be used.

• Turn the soup kettle on by pressing the POWER button. Display will be on.

• When the device cooled down, clean it. This should be done after each use to
keep the device in perfect hygienic condition. To clean the rest of the device,
watch up to protect the electric parts from humidity and from direct water
contact to avoid electric shocks and short-circuits. An impregnated cloth is easily
enough if you regularly clean the device.
• If you don´t use the device for a longer time or stock it, check the humidity and
temperature conditions: The air has to be dry and the device should be covered
to be protected from dust deposits.
REGULAR CONTROL OF THE DEVICE
Control regularly that the device doesn't present any damage. If it should be the case,
please contact your customer service to solve the problem.
What to do in case of problem?
Please contact your customer service and join following information:
• Invoice number and serial number (the latest is to be found on the technical
plate on the device).
• If relevant, a picture of the damaged, broken or defective part.
• It will be easier for your customer service clerk to determinate the source of
the problem if you make a detailed and precise description of the matter. Avoid
formulations like "the device doesn't heat", which may mean that it doesn't heat
enough or even not at all. Though, those two possibilities have a different causati-
on!
• Still indicate the performance of the lights to facilitate the diagnosis: Is the light
of the ON/OFF switch on when the rocker switch is in ON position? Does the
control light turn on when the device is working?
The more detailed your information, the quicker the customer service will be able to
answer your problem rapidly and efficiently!

Press SET button for setting the desired temperature. Display will flash,
temperature can be set by buttons POWER (increasing the temperature)
and SET (reducing the temperature). After setting, do not press any button
for about 6 seconds and machine will start working.
Push POWER button during normal work, display will show "- -" and the
device will turn off.
