Avoiding damage to materials, property and the device
• Make sure that the mains cord does not get pinched, kinked or
laid over sharp edges and does not come into contact with hot
surfaces.
• Always place the device on a dry, level and solid base.
• Maintain adequate distance to heat sources such as stoves or
ovens to prevent damage to the device. Do not place any open
fl ames, e.g. burning candles, in the direct vicinity of the device,
cord and plug.
• Do not insert any objects (spoons, knives etc.) in the feed chute
while the device is operating.
• The device is not suitable for continuous operation. Do not use
the device continuously for more than 60 seconds. Then, let the
device cool off suffi ciently before using it again.
• Never operate the device without food.
• Never fi ll the device with frozen or hot fruits or vegetables!
• Do not forcefully push fruits and vegetables into the device!
• Never use the device without the collection containers.
• Do not allow the device to fall and do not subject it to strong
percussions.
• Only use original parts provided by the manufacturer.
• Do not pull or carry the device by the cord.
• Do not subject the device to extreme temperatures, severe
changes in temperature, moisture, wetness or direct sunlight.
• Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents to clean
the device. They could damage the surface.
Hygienic notes
• The device may have production residue stuck to it. To avoid
health risks, clean the device before fi rst use (see chapter
"Cleaning and care").
• Clean the device after every use to prevent the formation of
germs (see chapter "Cleaning and storage").
