4. Operation

ST allows programming and storing of up to 9 "speaking times", as well as timing and displaying the
activated speaking time (Fig. 4.1); it also indicates the counting events by means of sounds and signal
lights.

4.1. What a speaking time is
A "speaking time" consists of (Fig. 4.2):
1. the total time assigned for the speech;
2. the time interval to warn the speaker that the available time is about to expire;
3. the behavior at the end of the total time.
