Reading Magnetic Strip Card
A Insert the magnetic tape part of the card
into this unit's card reading part and slide it.
 Face the magnetic tape of the card to the
computer side.
 You can slide the card from both sides to
read.
NOTE
Slide the card parallel to the rail.

Slide the card at a constant speed.
●
Inserting the card at an angle to slide or removing the card at an

angle after insertion may lead to incorrect reading.

Install the driver

If the message to inform of the new hardware detection is displayed
when this unit is connected to the computer for the first time, click
[Cancel] to close the display, and then install the driver according to
the following procedure.
Preparation
Prepare the following items:

 Magnetic Stripe Card Reader Driver CD-ROM (included)
 USB CD/DVD drive (optional) (refer to recent catalogs and other
sources for information about the products available)
Remove all peripherals (except for this unit).

Connect the AC adaptor and do not remove it until installation is

complete.

Connect the CD/DVD drive to the USB port.

Set the Magnetic Stripe Card Reader Driver CD-
ROM into the CD/DVD drive.

Restart the computer.
