IRST INSTALLATION
A prepaid card payment system consists of a
CARDWRITER-01 programmer and one or more
CTx Timers. In order to activate the system it is
necessary to choose and assign a system Code to
all products and
CARDWRITER-01 programmer.
For activation, please follow the steps below:
1) Choose a system code consisting of 5 digits
other than 00000 and programme it into the
CARDWRITER-01 programmer and into the CTx
Timers (ch. 7.3).
2) Choose a password consisting of 5 digits other
than 00000 and
CARDWRITER-01 programmer (ch. 7.4).
3) Format the provided
CARDWRITER-01 programmer (ch. 6.5).
4) Add credit to the cards destined for clients (ch.
6.1 and 6.2).

PERATOR MENU
If there is no card placed on the reader area (see
Fig. 3), only the operator totalizers can be
accessed (see ch. 6.4).

The first line shows the card's current credit.
Via the [ / ] and [ / ] keys, you can scroll the
menu headings. Press [ /
The subsequent menu headings allow you to add
or zero your current credit.

• The first three headings (in Fig. 4 "Add 1.00€",
"Add 5.00€", "Add 10.00€") allow you to add
the
prefixed credit (defined in the administrator
menu, see ch. 7.2), so as to speed up
operations.
• The heading "Add credit" allows you to add an
arbitrary amount of credit.
• The heading "Zero credit" allows you to zero the
card's credit.
6.1 Adding prefixed credit
If for example you select the heading "Add 5.00€",
you will be asked to confirm the operation: press
[ / ] to add credit, or [ /
