• Do not use accessories such as high pressure hoses (A). It is preferable to
use soft non-metallic brushes (B) and wipers (C) in such a way as to reduce
the pressure to an acceptable level.
• Prevent water and steam from getting into connectors that are not in use.
• Do not brush and apply reduced pressure to labels and markings.
• Dry carefully and look for signs of water ingress.
• Test the device before reusing it.
Hill-Rom recommends the use of the Sanivap
• Application time recommended by the supplier: about 1 sec.
• Distance (recommended by the supplier) between the source and the surface
to be cleaned: about 3 mm.
• Application: exterior parts of the mattress (covers).
• Frequency: for each new patient.
Machine washing the upper cover and the seat cushion
The upper cover of the mattress and the seat cushion can be machine washed.
Follow the instructions below to prepare for machine washing.
Do not always wash the upper cover and the cover of the seat cushion to avoid
reducing its service life. The upper cover and seat cushion cover must only be
machine washed if there is a particular risk of infection.
Proceed with the final steps before reusing the cleaned and disinfected device.

Only clean with oxygenated agents.
Do not iron.
Do not dry clean.
Can be tumble dried.
Moderate temperature: 50°C.
