Setting the Tool

Note:
This tool is accurately adjusted before shipping from the
factory. Check the following accuracy and readjust if nec-
essary in order to obtain the best results in operation.
Adjusting the Bevel Stops at 90° and 45° (Fig. 4)
• Loosen the Bevel Lock Handle and move the cutting
head all the way to the right and tighten the Bevel
Lock Handle 1.
• Use a square to set the blade at 90° to the table.
• If an adjustment should be necessary, unscrew lock
nut 2 and turn the screw with the Allen key provided,
until the saw blade is at a right angle to the table.
• Tighten the lock nut.
• Adjust the bevel indicator 4 to the 0 mark using the
screw.
• To set the stop position at 45°, move the cutting head
to the left and adjust the 4 screws until the 45° posi-
tion is reached.
Adjusting the Fence
• Lower the cutting head and push in the lock pin. Make
sure the table is in 0 mitre position.
• Place a combination square against the fence and next
to the saw blade.
• If the blade does not contact the square, loosen the
screws .
• Adjust the fence so that the fence has full contact with
the square. Tighten the screws.
Adjusting the laser line (fig. 5)
• Use a board (approx. 200 mm x 300mm) to adjust the
laser beam. Draw a marking line at a right angle and
place the board on the table.
• Align the mark with the saw blade and clamp the board
to the table.
• Use the power button to switch the laser on.
In order to adjust the laser line, loosen the two slot-head-
ed screws 1. Now push the laser unit until the laser line
agrees with the marked line. Please note: the laser line
can be adjusted so that it runs either on the side or in
the middle of the cut. Tighten the slotted screws up again
and if necessary adjust again.
Connecting to the Power Supply
Check that the power supply and outlet used are in ac-
cordance with your mitre saw. Have a look at the rating
plate of the motor or the rating on the mitre saw. Any
changes should always be carried out by a qualified elec-
trician.

La scie a été ajustée avec précision en usine avant son
expédition. Pour obtenir les meilleurs résultats, faire les
vérifications suivantes de la précision et ajuster de nou-
veau au besoin.
Réglage des angles de chanfrein de 90° et 45° (Fig. 4)
• Desserrer la manette de blocage de chanfrein et
pousser la tête de coupe vers la droite aussi loin qu'elle
peut aller, puis resserrer la manette de blocage 1.
• A l'aide d'une équerre, ajuster la lame pour la mettre
perpendiculaire au plateau.
• Desserrer l'écrou de blocage 2, si un réglage était
nécessaire tourner la vis avec la clé à six pans mâle
fournie de telle façon que la lame de scie forme un
angle de 90° par rapport à la table.
• Serrer le contre-écrou.
• Amener l'indicateur de chanfrein 4 à la graduation 0
en tournant la vis.
• Pour le réglage de la butée à 45° déplacer la tête de
coupe vers la gauche et régler les 4 vis jusqu'à ce que
la position 45° soit atteinte.
Adjustement du guide
• Abaisser la tête de coupe et la bloquer avec la goupille
de sécurité. S'assurer que le plateau est dans la
position d'onglet 0.
• Placer l'un des bras d'une équerre combinée contre le
guide et l'autre contre la lame de scie.
• Si la lame ne touche pas l'équerre, desserrer les vis.
• Ajuster le guide de façon qu'il touche l'équerre tout
au long. Serrer les vis.
Réglage de la ligne laser (Fig. 5)
• Pour le réglage du rayon laser, prendre une planche
(environ 200 mm x 300 mm). Marquer une ligne en
angle droit et poser la planche sur la surface portante
de la table.
• Aligner le marquage de façon centrée par rapport à
la lame de scie et bloquer à l'aide de la griffe de
serrage.
• Utiliser l'interrupteur marche/arrêt pour allumer et
éteindre le laser.
Pour régler la ligne laser, desserrer les deux vis à fente 1.
Ensuite déplacer l'unité laser jusqu'à ce que la ligne laser
corresponde à la ligne laser marquée.
Veuillez noter : vous pouvez régler la ligne laser de sorte
qu'elle passe sur le côté ou au centre de la coupe.
Resserrer les vis à fente et ajuster, si nécessaire.
Branchement de la scie
S'assurer que le courant et la prise utilisée correspondent
à ce dont la scie a besoin. Voir les spécifications qui fi-
gurent sur la plaque signalétique du moteur ou celles qui
figurent sur la scie. Tout changement doit être effectué
par un électricien qualifié.
